Nepalgunj, Nov 4: CPN (UML) Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam has said that his party was in favour of constitution amendment if its rationale was clarified.
Addressing a greetings exchange programme on the occasion of various festivals organised by CPN (UML) Banke District Working Committee here on Friday, leader Gautam said, “The new constitution has not discriminated against any community. So why constitution amendment is necessary, it should be clarified.”
Clarifying that constitution with provision of constitutional post to naturalized citizen was not acceptable to his party, leader Gautam said constitution is a document to be amended but it should be amended for nation’s integrity and unity. RSS
