Kawasoti, Nov 6: CPN (UML) standing committee member and former Minister Kiran Gurung has stressed on holding three-tier elections within 15 months.
In a press meet organised by Press Chautari Nepal, Nawalparasi chapter today, leader Gurung stressed on implementing the constitution saying that otherwise the system itself might collapse due to constitutional crisis.
Leader Gurung who is the coordinator of Province No 4 of the party voiced for developing the Nawalpur area as the provincial capital.
Gurung today reached there to address the CPN (UML) Province No 4 assembly of the party at Amaltari, Nawalpur in the district.
Amaltari is a home-stay village developed by Tharu community where Tharu culture has been widely promoted.
It is learnt that, the two-day meeting will be attended by 11 district chairs, former chairs, former members at the national delegates council, central members, politburo members and standing committee members of the party.
The province No 4 comprises Manang, Mustang, Gorkha, Myagdi, Parbat, Baglung, Kaski, Syangja, Lamjung, and eastern part of Nawalparasi districts as well. RSS
