Jhapa, Nov 8: The Jhapali Society – Australia has extended financial support to families of nine persons of Jhapa who lost their lives during the monsoon-triggered flooding this year.
Society’s Founding Chairman, Dinesh Kumar Pokharel, handed over a cheque carrying Rs 350,000 to Nepal Red Cross Society Sub Branch – Birtamode on Monday.
Pokharel said the amount collected in Australia at the initiative of the society was handed over to Red Cross for distribution to the families. RSS
