Law Minister Nayak accuses UML of disordering country

Kathmandu, Dec 30: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajay Shankar Nayak, accused main opposition CPN-UML of trying to push the country towards chaos by distracting people through the wrong definition of nationalism.
Speaking at a face-to-face programme organised by Reporter’s Club in the Capital on Friday, Minister Nayak urged the UML to follow democratic system to get a way out from the parliament. “The UML is protesting the constitution amendment only for cheap popularity,” he argued.
The local body elections are the need of the hour, he said, adding that ruling and opposition political parties should therefore concentrate on how elections could be held.
On the occasion, CPN-UML leader Raghubir Mahaseth pitched for going for the elections even by keeping aside the disgruntled Madhesi Morcha.
Madhesi Morcha leader Manish Kumar Suman accused the UML of showing undemocratic character by obstructing the discussion of the constitution amendment bill at the Legislature-Parliament. RSS
