Biratnagar, Jan 4: Morang’s senior journalist Thakurdev Dhungel passed away at the age of 63 on Tuesday evening.
Dhungel, who was suffering from cancer, died in course of treatment at Bharatpur-based Cancer Hospital in Chitwan.
The final rites of Dungel were performed at Sigyaha River at Hatkhola in Morang today, according to his family sources.
Dhungel, the Chief-Editor of the Himchuli Saptahik, a local vernacular weekly, was also the secretary of the Journalists Revolving Fund in Biratnagar.
He is survived by two sons and wife. RSS
