Lahan, Jan 7: Coordinator of the Naya Shakti Party and former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, has suggested the CPN (UML) not to be an obstacle to finding an outlet to the country by halting the House business.
Talking to media persons on Saturday evening, Coordinator Bhattarai, who arrived at Saptari to participate in different programmes, said that the CPN (UML) should be responsible to give an outlet to the country without obstructing the Parliament.
“The country would head to a conflict if an outlet was not given to the country by addressing the dissatisfaction surfaced over province delineation immediately,” he said, adding that they are in constant consultation with the government and pro-change parties to settle the issue of delineation.
Co-ordinator Bhattarai said that the existing problem surfaced for not creating 10 provinces in the constitution as per the report of the State Restructuring Commission.
He suggested to give an outlet to the country by including the Madhesi/Tharu majority areas of Jhapa, Sunsari and Morang districts in Province No 2, Tharu-majority places of the Far-western region in Province No 5 and Magar majority areas of Lumbini and Rapti zones in Province No 4.
Bhattarai clarified that there was possibility of unification between his party and Madhes-based parties soon after resolution of the existing political problems. RSS
