Kathmandu, Sept 20: Police arrested two persons in connection with bomb explosions at various places of Kathmandu valley, from Jorpati today.
Superintendent of Police Bikram Singh Thapa identified the arrestees as cadres of All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union (Center) and Young Communist Force Nepal, but refused to disclose their names and address, citing security reason.
He said the arrestees admitted to the crime. The investigations are going on and all details will come to light soon, he said.
He said the arrestees have their hand in bomb explosions at Bouddha-based Akashdeep Boarding School and Manakamana Higher Secondary School today morning.
Likewise, a bomb disposal squad of Nepal Army deactivated pressure cooker bombs planted at various private schools in Kathmandu valley like Rai Boarding School, East pole School, Radiant Readers Academy School, Kanchanjanga Boarding School and Bal Sansar Boarding School, he said.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Private and Boarding School’s Organisation, Nepal (PABSON) Laxya Bahadur Bam denounced the incidents and demanded that the government should provide security to schools. RSS
