Integrated camp benefits over 1,500 people in Parbat

Parbat, Sept 13: More than 1,500 people received different services in an integrated mobile camp organised by different offices on Monday.
The camp was run at Thapathana VDC targeting people of six VDCs in the district. The District Administration Office, District Election Office, District Agriculture Development Office, and Women and Children Office, among others provided the services.
A total of 136 people acquired citizenship certificates in the camp while 23 disabled persons received identity cards and 85 people got senior citizenship identity cards. Distribution of senior citizenship identity cards was begun in the district for the first time from Monday.
A total of 165 people underwent health check-up in a free health camp as well as 410 farmers received counseling of agro-related problems, said National Investigation Officer, Bishnu Pandit.
Chief District Officer, Shambhu Prasad Marasini, said that the camp was run targeting the disabled, helpless and poor people. Locals of Thapathana, Shankarpokhari, Bhangara, Karkineta, Thulipokhari and Khaulalakuri were benefitted from the camp. RSS
