Banepa, Aug 31: Health Minister Gagan Thapa has said the election of local, provincial and parliament was the first need of the country.
Addressing the 54th general assembly of Araniko Travels Committee here today, he insisted on collective political efforts as in time of the promulgation of the constitution to ensure meaningful enforcement of country’s main law.
We would face defeat on multiple fronts if we failed to hold the elections of local, provincial and central levels within the scheduled time, he said.
Calling upon the leaders of Madhesh-centric parties not to mislead the Madhesi people regarding the issues of Madhes, he said Madhesi people have sent Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) leaders to the parliament.
The Health Minister vowed to work in such a way that people could feel positive change in the health sector. RSS
