Surunga (Jhapa), June 4: A woman died of electric shock while hanging washed clothes to dry them at Bhadrapur Municipality – 2, Jhapa on Saturday night.
The District Police Office, Jhapa has identified the deceased as 47 – year – old Kusum Rai of Bishalpur – 22.
Rai came in contact with the electric wire while hanging clothes and died on the spot. Her body has been kept at Mechi Zonal Hospital, Bhadrapur for post-mortem examination.
