Panchthar, Oct 19: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ramchandra Poudel has argued it was high time to usher the country towards prosperity through economic revolution.
At a programme organized by Nepal Tarun Dal, Panchthar Chapter on its 64th anniversary at Panchthar on Wednesday, leader Poudel underscored the promotion of agriculture, tourism and energy sector for the same.
Also, speaking at the programme, NC General-Secretary, Dr Shashank Koirala claimed that the new constitution could only be enforced through consensus between all political parties. “There is no alternative for the political parties to forge a consensus for the implementation of the new constitution as the constitution mandates three-tier elections to be held by mid-January next year, for which a border consensus is a must,” he said.
NC central committee member Bhismaraj Angdembe, NC Panchthar Chapter President Narendra Kumar Kerung among others also presented their respective opinion. RSS
