PM Dahal directs PAF officials to make the body effective

Kathmandu, Sept 8: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has directed the Poverty Alleviation Fund (PAF) authorities to run the institution in an effective manner.
While addressing the 64th meeting of the PAF today, PM Dahal referred to his endorsement of the programme ‘Government with poor’, on the very first day of his assumption of the post and directed the officials to implement the programme.
On the occasion, PAF Vice-chair Yuvraj Pandey shared that PM Dahal directed the PAF officials to make PAF programmes effective by developing strategic plans.
On the occasion, PAF Executive Director Nahakul KC shared the activities and future plan of the PAF.
The PAF has been serving 800,000 poor families through 30,000 community organizations. The Fund so far has invested over Rs 18.53 billion since 2061 BS in the poverty alleviation sector. RSS
